Operating Muscle (Financial Sustainability)
The financial sustainability aspect of Cooperative Clout is important because traditional “return/value” measures of performance fail to address it. It’s possible to score high in return to members, but because productivity, asset quality, and capital adequacy are ignored, financial sustainability may be in question. Operating Muscle creates a check and balance system to ensure Member Value is created in a sustainable manner.
